An anhydrite floor is a gypsum-bound screed that is poured in one go to the floor surface. Unlike sand-cement screed, the floor is not smeared, but flows into place. The finished floor usually has a milky colour in comparison to the look of grey cement.
Since an anhydrite floor is tougher / harder due to the gypsum than a normal sand-cement screed.
In addition to normal anhydrite floors, there is also synthetic anhydrite. These floors cannot be milled with a normal milling machine and require a concrete milling machine.
